yeah but its major deter point is the new stuff, that everyone is hating. stuff they can simply opt out of using. but are unaware they have the option lol
Might as well use Windows 7. All the updates went into that new ass backwards system.
any other reasons you dislike it other than "it's different"?i suppose this change has been more radical than other changes over the years but it's still no excuse. in the event you were, for some reason, forced to use 8, you would eventually get used to it.i'm not saying that you only dislike it because you hate change, because I've heard plenty of valid reasons to not like windows 8, and i'm not defending it either. i'm sort of in between. the UI is cool, but i'm mostly concerned about gaming support, and if there's not much of that, i'll be sticking with 7.
Noting was updated or changed for the desktop mode. Its a waste of time updating at that point.
Because its major selling point is the NON conventional desktop.
That's like saying "So you don't want cake because it's different than pie even though you've been served pie for several years?" Of course if I've been served pie for years and suddenly cake without warning, I'd be pretty upset.
you dont need a start button. add a run icon to the desktop. yeah its annoying but its like the only thing you have to do to make it a normal windows again.everything else under start is just icon shortcuts anyways. things that can be put anywhere.
they're both desserts, and i'm sure you would've gotten tired of pie all the goddamn time.
What was that one key combination that let you tab through windows in a cool way?
But the reason I get pie is because I want pie.If I wanted cake I'd go get cake.
win+tab, being removed in windows 8.
cmd.exe.
thats a hell of a long time on xp.dx10 drivers for video cards werent even compatible on xp.and even then, xp never had a true 64bit OS, only the fake one that simulated apps horribly.
