Stop blaming Apple then, blame the app devs.
apple is responsible for supplying the apps and app support

2nd gen iPod touch is like 5 years old or some stuff, who even keeps technology that long these days?
My phones 8 years old. I've kept it for 5 years.

stuff must be awful, guess you're not a big user of mobile phones.

Probably a Nokia

Who say's he's not happy with his phone?

No one said he isn't happy with it lol, where'd you read that?

Apple doesn't supply the apps. App support sure. But its up to the developers on whether or to take advantage of any new feature of updates that may not be available for older models. There are still tons of apps that run on my iPad 1.

What??
Ipads are extremely expensive!
I could make $800 in a little less than two months if I didn't pay a bunch of monthly stuff.

Apple was good like fifteen years ago.
Now they're just money-hogging starfishs
Apple was full of money-hogging starfish 15 years ago, lol.

It calls and text. Has a few dents and scratches. But the things invincible lol, I've chucked it down the road and slammed it into the asphalt and it still works. Just the camera quit working for some reason, I think it might have something to do with the lack of memory.

Why yes, Apple is a bundle of sticks is it not?

Steve Jobs hated everyone . Windows, Samsung, Adobe, the list goes on.

I own a 2nd Generation iPod Touch (Got it for free) and I was having some a problem where everything in the app store was "This app is incompatible with this ipod touch" so I thought I forgeted something up and I reset it.

I am not sure why you figured resetting it was the right thing to do.

The 2nd gen is an old iPod that I believe was made in 2008 or before. It is highly unlikely it would still support a modern operating system. This, combined with developers supporting newer devices and iOS versions means invariably after several years your iPod will be left behind.

I have a 3rd gen, its pretty much the last in the line to still be holding on. I'll be moving on now, I love that device and I'll still keep all my favorite apps on it.

It is unreasonable to expect a pocket computer to be current almost five years later. There is a reason you got it for free.

You must have other grievances about the brand.

The second gen iPod is over 4 years old. What do you expect? Them to go out of their way to develop things for something that old? The hardware it has probably doesn't work with the newer iOS versions.

So they stop updating old products or make updates only for new ones?
Because is my iPhone 3 going to be useless soon?
