it's also, like, one of the biggest things to make tekkit fun

disabling it is like shooting your own foot

it'd be better if you just made a rule for no EMC generators or something.

besides, there are other uses for EE. normal usage of energy condensers, transmutation tablets, armour, weapons, etc.

EE has tons of wonderful things and I severely disagree with the way you're approaching the issue of generating diamonds

I do NOT want to have to spend 95% of my playtime in caves or walking around looking for stuff just because I can't transmute things I need and I keep depleting all the caves I find. On a multiplayer server, everyone would run into this issue, and the end result is unhappy users and a tedious-as-your-mother-talking-on-the-phone-with-her-old-friend-from-high-school-while-you-try-to-get-her-to-sign-a-form game.


Things are very resource-demanding in Tekkit. Even non-EE things. Without EE, doing anything past midgame is essentially poopsack.

There's a reason you don't see many people play "full-on scientist" in Tekkit.

EE obeys conservation of matter. that's the whole point of EE (Equivalent Exchange)
the issue lies not with this mod, but with the way it works with other mods.

Well we've gone from disabling the mod, to disabling the condenser, to just making a rule that you cant farm with it.
I think thats reasonable. You should have to collect resources to do stuff, even if its with something that makes it really easy. It is minecraft.

When you said you made "No condensers" a rule, that implies no condensers, period.

Yeah, if you have a condenser in your house you use manually I guess I dont care.
But the mass automatic farming has got to stop. It has the potential to break and cause server problems, and is game breakingly overpowered.

If you look at pentho's condensers, there's over six stacks of diamonds in them, being farmed from a darkroom.

but those take a while, and had to be built
you can't just place down a condenser and some pipes and instantly get millions of diamonds
and it's only like that because the bonemeal chest is filled so the excess items go into the diamond condensers, and the bonemeal chest took a while to fill

There are personal safes.
And if you're not at that point, you can simply hide your stuff.
If you dont take the time to protect it, thats not my fault.
Yes, stealing is a richard move, and yeah, I might help kill theives, but Im not going to use my admin powers against them.

This is a 'free for all server' you can basically do what you want.

i suggested using mcedit to move me to my house, but you said you didnt want to since you had to stop the server for 5 minutes, but you took the time to install mods, and in that mod installation period, the server was down so you could have moved me to where i was
