Author Topic: Where have all the Blocklanders gone?  (Read 2880 times)

Remember when Blockland would peak at 600-650 players on weekend days, and about 550-600 on weekdays, about a year or two ago? What happened to everyone? I've noticed that there is consistently only about 480 people on Blockland at Maximum.
What are your guys' theories?

Badspot ban'd* them all.

since we haven't attracted much dedicated pre- and young teen users basically everyone's aging and getting more busier.

There are also the people who left when v21 came since they dident know about the update and dident like it.

Maps did, however, reduce the brick count and was more tolerable for most computers, while building large terrain for a big rp or deathmatch isn't going to be pretty.

Maybe a lot of people just lost interest. Once Blockland is on steam, though, we'll have regained tons of players.

Once BL gets on steam, if it does, it should get lots more people.

It will, soon enough...

In my opinion I've been seeing blockland pretty dull, let's say since v19. And even I don't know why I see it that way. It's just odd, in earlier versions, sometimes there were 700 players online.

Nobody has original ideas anymore.

Maybe it's not that, but rather the people who do have the ideas lack the motivation, time or skill, or perhaps they're keeping their projects away from the public (wishful thinking).
