Brooklyn, I'll always remember you

It just shows that AAA Graphics and online play can never beat a good storyline.

uh the new cods have way better storylines. how is a generic WWII d-day shoot national socialists people die storyline original at all? at least the new ones have more believable and in depth characters and a more active and original story.

You are wrong because none of the super soldier team is believable. The plot is handicapped and full of holes. How is loving following Reznov through the final fights of WWII and the attack on Berlin generic and poorly written. Explain how "shoot the national socialists to capture the final defensive position of the Germans to finally end the war" worse than "the russians attacked the US because an american was found shot in the head by a guy at a massacre in russia so now we gotta kill all the russians and captain Shepard is a cunt."

how is a generic post-COLDWAR shoot Russians people die storyline original at all? at least the new ones have more shoot Russians people die storyline and in depth swearing vocabularies and a more active and original ten year old kid fanbase.

I knew this would call the stuff storm

Oh god. They were so good. I miss that.
I was disappointed with the ending of the second one though. It was just anticlimactic. But that game was SOOOOOO good.

Wow, I never knew that Call of Duty was ever not a over-hyped mindless-multiplayer fps.

cod3: scout. god damn artillery strikes and a scoped finger of god. ;-; the memories

It was always that, it's just that the first two also had great singleplayer campaigns.

okay so he picked up a gun and ran to a wall.

the only impressive thing about that is how it wasn't a cutscene, didn't have an indicator right above the objective saying "hey dipstuff you need to go right here", and how it seemed like there was some slight chance of actually dying.
So yeah, a little more immerse instead of being a movie, which is something completely fine to enjoy

so yeah, i agree that this kind of thing needs to come back to games.

That scene always used to make me a little depressed, I'd just look over to the German position and see this one Russian carrying a flag charging them, he'd get right up to the sandbags before getting minced.
