Why did you choose 9 vs 9?
If you made it 4vs4 or 6vs6 things would be a bit more interesting.
Instead of 2-3 teams like you have now you would have 4-6 which would be much more entertaining to watch.
It's speculative at this point, as we were interested in having a full team. The idea was to have Highlander which I also think is more fun to watch.
But also:
I think the idea was to have a couple extra players per team if a few couldn't do the match time
If you have a team of nine and only six do show up, the other team can then have subs that sit out to make it a 6v6 match.
But then, I sort of expected more people wanting to play than just a couple of teams.
We'll see, the matches, in theory, would take place this weekend if we can get four teams, and if those four teams are willing to split into smaller teams for sake of extending the time. It'd have to be decided by the two existing teams.
Otherwise, with only two teams, we look to have, as scheduled, the two teams go straight to the finals this upcoming Thursday.
