i dont know how true that is but i know a stuff-ton of stoners who have absolutely horrific memories

The stoner memory thing is because they do it so often they can't recuperate. It's like drinking alcohol, if i get drunk once a month, i can recuperate from the damage to my liver. if i get drunk every day, i can't. That's why, although i do support legalization or marijuana, i also believe it should be taxed and sold only to people over 16.

the war on drugs is less on the people doing the drugs and more on the major cartels that are spreading it throughout the country and world; this would be unnecessary if the same idiots crying out "LEGALIZE MARIJUANA AND SAVE THE COUNTRY'S MONEY" would make the war on drugs unnecessary by not buying/selling illegal drugs

1) Yes let's just murder them because that doesn't require you know severely impacting those around them with the possible trauma of military and/or police raids and increased gang violence since they're being targeted with violence themselves.

If marijuana is legalized and distributed by licensed distributors that means it can be taxed. Most people will buy from these licensed distributors because they're perceived to be safer and more accessible. There's clearly a market for it, so not tapping into that market then complaining when someone else continues to profit from it is loving stupid.

3) Saying "you will" develop a psychological addiction fails to account for the fact that no two people respond the same way to stimuli. I've had friends who smoked literally daily for 4+ months then just stopped because they didn't have the money and didn't suffer for it at all. Clearly every single human being who ever smokes weed will develop a psychological reliance

but there are plenty of people who support legalization who don't do marijuana. i have never even seen it.

If smoke deprived you of oxygen shouldn't cigarettes be illegal. Same thing with steam should we ban sources of water vapor? Water vapor doesn't deprive your brain of oxygen. Constant smoke inhalation such is being in a fire will kill you but you will die of just smoke inhalation WAYYY before dying from a lack of oxygen

Obviously if more people start using it the number of people smoking it (illegally) in public zones would increase as well (not by a huge amount).
