The document goes on to indicate that THQ is in negotiations to repair the credit line. Were it to disappear, the publisher’s cash flow would be severely impacted. Additionally, they don’t have the funds to repay the credit right now. No other lender is going to bail them out, either. Were this to happen, bankruptcy seems like the only reasonable outcome.

THQ is responsible for publishing many well received titles, including those from the Saints Row and Red Faction series, and also hold agreements with other franchises such as Games Workshop and Nickelodeon.  THQ going out would be a big hit for many fans of these series :(

i'm in the alfa legion too

While Saints Row 3 was okay, it wasn't really that great in my opinion.
And then i am not even talking about the many, many mostly useless DLC they brought out.
They are just really squeezing every penny out of the game.

So yeah, i was really pumped for Saints Row 3, i didn't play any other Saints Row, but it looked cool.
But it was quite disappointing in my opinion.
Reason enough for me to avoid the next game in the series, if it ever gets here anyhow.

I hear hear EA wants to buy THQ.

I hear hear EA wants to buy THQ.
the one time we want EA to consume a developer whole
and it's doubtful it will happen.
shame.

I hear hear EA wants to buy THQ.
I wouldn't be surprised to see that happen.
I almost would say: "What company doesn't EA want to buy?"

I hope they get out of it, I love Red Faction.

I hear hear EA wants to buy THQ.
if they do they better not forget up the GW titles

rip one of the best studios/ publishers

I wouldn't be surprised to see that happen.

Basically this, EA would buy every loving dev and publisher if it could.
