everything went black+white with a white flash and then faded to blue and then green before turning normal colours

also
this made me realize i don't think I've had a dream since I was a little kid where I wasn't myself and the protagonist in more or less first person
is that normal
on a related note, here's one from my childhood that scared the stuff out of me at the time (i was really young, probably 5 or 6):
There was this family, living in a house (the house was my house at the time but it's normal for dreams to take place in a familiar setting). They were a family that had been living in the house for some time when, one day, an dark, raspy voice started to terrorize them more and more each day. The voice soon revealed itself to be an evil spirit, having no true manifested form and instead being a strong, negative presence. It grew stronger with each passing day, and the family eventually tracked the center of the spirit's presence to the kitchen.
The evil spirit grew angry with them and entered a fit of rage, causing the main object the spirit was residing in to become apparent: the spirit was possessing the oven.
And it could have turned out to be a decent creepypasta if i remembered what happened after that, but that's the extent of what i remember from it
and
http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=213505.15edit: i forgot to add:
When I was young, maybe at the oldest age 6, I used to always have some strange "recurring dream" (not entirely sure it can be considered one) where, before any time I would have a nightmare, I would be standing in a wide, long, large halllway sort of place, except I had no body and, while the dreamspace seemed to be bound by said hallway, there were no actual walls, just black nothingness. Out of the far distance, a piercing white light would speed towards me in a tight spiral, leaving a trail of sparks. The light would eventually hit me head-on, and the second that it did, the nightmare would begin.
This stopped happening around the time I learned to wake up before the light hit me. I was generally aware of any dreams I was having when I was little, so I had slight control over them and he ability to wake up if I really needed to.
