Author Topic: Comparing PC Gaming to Console Gaming  (Read 2593 times)

PC Gaming is more hardcore and a much large range of stuff to do, while more complicated
Console gaming is for someone that just wants to sit back and play some games easily with no hassle

Shame developers and publishers alike have turned their backs on pc's and just make stuffty ports. Hell ID Software who started the whole First Person Shooter genre which started with pc's only ported Rage to the pc. Also forget consoles and all who think they are superior. The 360 uses a modified version of windows xp for christ sake and other consoles consist of technolgy that slowing getting old, however it is said that the current generation of consoles will around for another 14 years or so. Talk about a gridlock. Also the whole pc's are hard understand thing is bullstuff. My dad taught me what every part was and did inside a computer so I could fix one my self should something break. Just simply open one and look around for a bit.

Meanwhile so called experts praise tablets with their flashy newness  and only serve a few purposes and can't do all the things a desktop can do, yet they think they are superior and believe they will make the large desktops go extinct.

This, and I do a little bit of both.

I like PC gaming because of a computer's swiss army knife factor. I can multitask.

But sometimes I just want to sit down and relax for a bit while playing something. Being cramped up and hunched over a computer is taxing every now and again.

Consoles are much easier when you're younger. They're easy to manage.

When you're older, you crave mods and customizability. A computer provides this.

-snip-
I was talking about repair and maintenance.  When the time does come to replace a part, it is cheaper to buy $40 for RAM than $300 for a new PS3.

Consoles are just cheap PCs built only for gaming.

1. I guess this makes me a Glorious Dirty Console and PC Gaming Peasant Master Race?
Because I play on both consoles and PCs, because I believe more than one kind of thing can be good. Tell me, when deciding on what kind of meat to eat, do you say beef sucks because chicken is good? No? How is this any different?

2. Congratulations, you found someone who reuploaded someone else's artwork. Deviantart in a nutshell.

Computers cost more to buy and maintain, while a console is cheaper and easier to use. A good gamer has both.

a good gamer is a pc gamer you disgusting worm

only thing the consoles do better than pc gaming are when you play with friends at the same house, fighting games, and halo

I kinda miss proper splitscreen modes in newer game titles.
It seems like Halo is the only game that remains it's co-op splitscreen campaign over the games.
The only other game I can think of would be the newer Resident Evils but I'm not much of a fan of these games.
