Author Topic: SONIC ADVENTURE 2 IS ON STEAM  (Read 14645 times)

I have a 3-year old PC CD copy on my shelf.

And I'll never be able to play it without a computer.

GOOD THING IT'S BEEN OUT SINCE OCTOBER FOR PS3 WITH SADX

Although it is harder to make mods for PS3, is it not?

There is a bug with fruits in the Chao Garden. The age value gets incremented every time the player pauses, and once the age hits 8, fruit are deleted. So pausing while in the Chao Garden will erase fruit faster. http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3009669

The Xbox live version supports the 360 chatpad when naming Chao and custom soundtracks and also allows for dual stick camera control.

So wait, Xbox allows you to type with their little dinky keyboard, but you can't on the PC version with a full keyboard? The hell? Custom Soundtracks, I assume, is that music thing on the guide button which works in most games. Etc.

Could anyone recommend a specific button layout which works best for this game? The default one confused me, but my solution didn't really help.

just buy a controller. keyboard controls are awful. :S

sonic games were made for controller even on pc

Completed the Hero story in 2 and 1/2 hours.
Man, it took way longer as a kid, lol

What kind of controller though? I tried to find the PC Wireless Controller adapter, but the closest I got was the one that comes with a controller. I am betting GameStop would have it, but... Ya, how?

any controller you want that will work with PC. personally I use an xbox 360 controller and it works fine

I use a wired 360 controller as well, native support with Win7 is pretty nice to have

I have only had wireless Xbox 360 controllers. The only way to connect them to PC is a special $20 adapter.

You can buy a regular USB controller for about the same price as the adaptor.

None of that is worth it. Anyone else know a good setup for a keyboard?

It is worth it.  You're not going to get good enough control for sonic with m+kb.

One controller for one game which I can't play that much.
