Author Topic: TDMs Are Dying  (Read 2726 times)

I know people love to play servers that are unique and creative compared to others, but your classic TDM is losing its popularity even though they are extremely fun. I can't be the only one noticing this, right? Crappy City RPGs are getting more people than TDMs like Heed's and Dren's. Yes, I know Blue has an unfair advantage in Heed's, but it's still very fun. Most TDMs aren't unique, but just the fun of battle killing other players is pretty exciting, which makes me wonder why people don't play them anymore.

there's no unfair advantage in my tdms.

I can start up mine if someone's interested

Just because you've decided you don't like the current TDM servers on offer does not mean there is a game-wide trend of declining TDM quality.

Honestly.

woah those are some nice counter examples! sure showed me! (jk)

its all around great. its well balanced AND it helps keep annoying forums kids out as they think it isnt.

I'm quite fine with the declining numbers of TDM players, because all the immature, annoying kids go play RPs, while all the dedicated TDM players play TDMs.

The last time I was on your server there was a group of about ten people inside my team's base constantly spawn killing us with rockets. Seems like a great TDM.

family RPs and the popular TDMs both suck richard so

And so?  The teams were balanced.  They were just being friends.  That's when you don't respawn and wait it out until they get distracted or leave.

Don't try to defend him. Good TDMs would have something to prevent that problem.
Example: The spawns being in other areas instead of a single building.
Example 2: Team 1 is unable to access Team 2's base.
Example 3: Multiple Exits to the base.
Example 4: All of the above.
