yeah, most schools in the US have a quarter/semester system, trimester is just three instead of four. its a lot nicer because then you dont have any midterms and just have easier "finals" at the end of each trimester.

There is this weird socially awkward type kid at my school.

He is extremely creepy around girls, and asked one of my friends if he could smell her. He also pretends to be a stoner, although I am unsure if he's even smoked weed before. He also sang part of the MLP theme in class today, and then stopped like 2 seconds later. He said 4chan was his favorite website, but also didn't even know that /mlp/ existed, which leads me to believe he isn't active on 4chan. He constantly says stupid internet stuff like "newcigarettes can't triforce" and makes references to stupid stuff. All of his facebook statuses are about either handicapped memes, or gross stuff like loving girls scouts in the ass. That isn't even the worst part though. The thing that makes me truly disgusted with him is that he is a Tobuscus fan.
