Look up a definition of religion (you could use he one I gave you) and tell me how atheism fits any of those points

Then what do you consider atheism to be? Just a belief? I'd say that it should be considered a person's religion, even if only loosely. I don't see what other category it fits into.
And don't get too focused on definition, either. When people ask you your religion, they're asking how you believe the universe was created, what, if any, beings you worship, etc. Replying that you're Atheist gets the point across just as any other religion would, and is a valid answer.
atheism is like the opposite of religion
And yet still can be classified as a religion. Just because it's not practiced, belongs to no official church, and has no official book stating the guidelines of it, it's still a religion. It can define your set of beliefs just as well as replying with anything else would.
