Author Topic: better vehicle physics with bricks is vital for the next update  (Read 3406 times)

yep, its been suggested a few times since the v21 update.
basically, the devs should be focusing on this and this only as its vital to get it correct. it is a persistent pain in the bum when vehicles get stuck in bricks.

who's with me?

Absolutely.

Imagine that soft feeling when your vehicle could just slide smoooooothly over plate terrain...

Maybe if bricks had an invisible ramped collision mesh around the edges, but that might mess things up with players walking/building on bricks

Not likely since torque sucks.

Not likely since torque sucks.
Torque is a perfectly fine language and engine.

OT:
I would much rather him work out all the kinks and smooth out all the past updates that have already been released rather than adding more things.

Quality, not quantity

not "new vehicle physics"
but
"better vehicle physics"
the quality is drastically impacted by vehicle physics.

I totally vote yes. Please, PRETTY PLEASE, we need this.

It would be nice to be able to fly/drive into things and then not shoot of 5 miles into the sky

Roblox's problem right there "Quality not Quantity". Roblox just wants to keep adding more stuff in their game without fixing the main things, if they ever decide to its going to be harder rather just fixing things before releasing new things. (Servers are still laggy, at least when you watch someone drive)

I even made a montage of clips of vehicles glitching out
will post link when uploaded. (no promise)

this.

All the new updates made blockland even more amazing than it already is.
The only thing we are missing is great vehicle physics.
I strongly support this.

Total support. Also, limit needs to be raised since terrain is gone and they said it will allow more.
