Are you setting WASD correctly? It should be just like the arrow keys but in a different spot.

no it's different, because i also have to have my hands on the space bar/crouch differently

i pretty much only switched crouch with jet. i tend to do that alot on fps for some reason maybe to crouch faster.

I use arrow keys and have things like tools, jet, jump, and crouch assigned to rCtrl, rAlt, shift, ', and /.

My controls are weird, but they are easy for me. Plus when i started with demo there was no default controls so i made the controls.

I almost never use the arrow keys for controlling any game, unless forced to do so.
I even managed to make my little brother and sister use WSAD instead of the arrow keys for this game. :P

Using MotioninJoy I use my PS3 controller, though when I'm playing seriously I use WASD.

i used to use arrow keys for runescape camera control, i think they changed it so that wasd are arrow controls and you hit enter to speak. wasd is best for most games, arrow keys only work on games where the mouse is barely ever used or if you're a lefty.
