why did my server just shut down himself?

I waited, it lagged out, i went to my hosting webpage and clicked on start, then, the brickcount was the same as before it crashed? wtf

Try FileZilla.
This, then fill in the cooresponding credentials in the top bar as found on the hosting page (your server information)

Hey - it looks like there was a very brief network outage on NY01. When one of the nodes stops reporting back in to the main server it marks that server as Offline and when it began responding again it would have put your server back into an online status. Apologies for that.

I'll look into making things more clear if the node disconnects or anything like that.

Does glass still have a server?

since I've read that support tickets are not accepted for issues with add-ons (and I'm guessing this includes music)...
I'll ask here instead, and since I've never uploaded music to a dedicated server before, I would like to know how to?

I put the music in the music folder of the dedicated server via FTP, restart it, and no music appears in-game.
I'm confused.

Darren, they are -1's that you have to change to 1's, not 0's to 1's lol.

Another way is to get into gamemode, choose custom and enable them from there. You can also enable and disable add-ons in there along with modding the server prefs, such as physics vehicle limit and stuff like that.

on second thought, the .ogg files didn't turn up in that file.
I tried adding the files myself, the file just gets reset.

cowboy6, are you even on the same topic as us? this is dedicated servers on the RTB service.

I have run a lot of dedicated servers in my time, I should know. Try the gamemode way, it's always worked for me.

I don't get it. Go directly into Gamemode_Custom and edit the file? nope.

No, go into your Admin control panel (Ctrl+A) and press "Game modes" then press "Custom" then it should say on the left side, Addons, Music, Advance, etc. Press Music and enable it from there and restart your server.
