Yeah you can. My views in regards to religion have changed a few times based on other people's arguments. What you just said is grade A ignorance.

It's actually not. In his experience he has never changed his opinion through an Internet discussion of any issue. So, what he said has held true, which means he's not ignorant on the subject -- it just means that he's an immutable human rock that doesn't develop or learn.

Actually it does mean he is ignorant. Ignorance is defined by merriam webster as being "destitute of knowledge or education." By basing statements on solely your observations, when there are obviously people who would prove you wrong, you are lacking knowledge or education on a subject by choice.

Yeah, my views, which I am using synonymously with religious stance, have changed. My beliefs haven't for two years. But even then, beliefs can change from sound, logical arguments. Pretty much anybody's opinion on anything can be changed from arguments.

To me, the meaning of 'religious stance' is your religion, such as Christianity, or Islam. Your religious stance can be a Catholic stance, a Jewish stance, even an atheist stance. It's your view of religion as a whole, to me.

Religious views are the specific things you believe. One religious view I have is that God doesn't exist until someone proves that he does. An Islamic religious view is that Jerusalem belongs to Muslims, not Christians or Jews. A Muslim's view can be changed from believing Jerusalem belongs to Muslims to believing it belongs to Jews.
