Author Topic: Google's design gets more and more bland over time  (Read 3188 times)

Did anyone notice how Google has been slowly taking out round corners, colors and colorful icons
Has anyone noticed Google is becoming even more white and grey, square and lifeless?
Google's button icons used to be good. They're all gray and have sharp corners now. Discuss Google's designs.

does it really matter how the page looks, as long as you can still search properly?

If it didn't matter, I bet Google wouldn't waste their time changing it.

I hate the new Youtube ;.;

Said by no-one ever?

i honestly don't see what the problem is with the new youtube and google layout, it's a little different, so what? stop being autistic. it's also really annoying that you can't go anywhere on youtube anymore without people constantly whining about the new layout.

i prefer the simplicity. as long as buttons turn red as my mouse passes over them, i'm fine with it.

But white, grey, simple lifelessness is the future.

I kind of like the new YouTube layout. It just needs to take up more space and have some dark colors to even it out. It's eye rape.

I think simplicity is best, and frankly, I'd rather not some giant eyesore be on my screen.
