Everyone going after us because this doesn't quite look right is ridiculous. The ghosting issue will be fixed. The mesh follow issue will be fixed. It's not fair that everyone is expecting this to work right off of the bat. That's an unreasonable expectation. It is being developed.

I'm pretty sure Ephialtes and Slicksilver know what they're talking about.

Just keep trying jeep, you'll get there!

Now sarcasm aside, I haven't tested this and I really want to.

I'm not "going after you" - I've just got enough experience to know that what you're trying to do just cannot work. Don't take it personally.

man, i look so cool sitting in that chair with my arms out.

But it does. The only issues now are the slow body movement (smooth. bricks stay together unless you're flying. they just drag a little). And the ghosting issue. Other than that, this works fine.

I really know almost nothing as far as... this particular topic goes.  But instead of keeping all of the bricks in a loop, would it be possible to save all of the bricks as a model and package that as an addon.  Then restart the server with that add-on enabled?  Not quite as fancy as what you guys are doing, but It would certainly fix any lag problems on a bigger server.

That is extremely more fancy and if you have code that calculates and writes the dts file, go ahead.

Who made the buildable vehicles in rtb?

the problem with this is that i want to be able to make things like this
It was once told to me that when builds could fly, I'd be legendary or something...

but all this can really be used for is making box cars with few bricks that lag around the map. its hit its limit with what it can do. its not like "oh its only in development it will get better and it will support more". you've done what you could, and its a cute little project. its not something that should be used seriously because no scripter has the ability to do this correctly, only badspot does. its sad because theres a lot of people expecting and hoping that this will be the amazing mod that they've always been waiting for, when really it's not.

I have some secret thing's I am developing.
Also this is impossible, don't expect anymore updates

This is bootiful

Buggy or not, this is pretty awesome.

It will never look smooth because the brick models have no velocity, thus the client has absolutely no way to predict where the "bricks" are going.
