Author Topic: Is the Wii U a good buy?  (Read 3634 times)

I'm waiting for pikmin 3.

i'm also open to suggestions on what to get for it and if one of these babies would make the experience better/worse
Games:
-Pikmin 3 - If you played the other games.
-NSMBU - If you don't really care about the repetitive play of the games.
-ZombiU -A new style of zombie fighting, even in versus mode.

Also, that controller can be useful for FPS use if you really need it.

I'd buy it just for Mario and Scribblenauts, but I'm not that person.

For those reasons, I'm just gonna get a 3DS next year. (XBOX this year.)

I have a Wii U and I love it.
Get the Deluxe set if you can because 8gb ain't enough.
Perhaps buy a external hard drive for the Wii U too.
Some good games are Nintendo Land, ZombiU (from what I saw), Scribblenauts Unlimited, and uh that mario one i forget.
If you have an external hard drive, just buy the basic set and Nintendoland and save some monies.

Really cant wait until christmas

buy the basic set and Nintendoland and save some monies.
Doing this costs $10 more than buying the deluxe which includes nintendo land

Amazon uk prices:

Base + Nintendo Land = £277.2
Premium = £299.00
Base + ZombiU (Amazon Bundle maker) = £264.21

Yeah some places are charging differently since it's new. Also UK prices are different.
Official US price is $299.99 (+$59.99 for nintendoland for a total of $359.98) for basic, $349.99 for deluxe

349.99 US Dollar equals
216.02 British Pound Sterling

299.99 US Dollar equals
185.20 British Pound Sterling

Boo.

For £185 i would have bought one day 1.

Plus you get a charging cradle, gamepad stand, console stand, and more memory.

It is indeed a good buy.
Also the controller isn't bulky or heavy and fits your hands perfectly.
