i've never seen this before but it's only 3 star, how is it better than the dragon scale shield?

its defense isn't that great but it allows you to strike a lot faster

Dragon shield has no Normal defence.

Yeah, if you dodge more than shield, the Swift Strike buckler would be good to have, since it greatly benefits slow swords.

alright i see what you mean there
skolver coat gives a bit of it, i do shield a ridiculous amount, probably because i was unaware you could dodge.
seemed to me like the veil + coat + shield were a common combination.
