i dunno what people in the UK do or what the laws are.
i imagine them letting crime happen since no one has guns and they love calling the police.

in the US we are allowed to shoot people who break in as long as we "feel threatened".
we dont need to say anything, we dont need them to have stolen anything yet, we dont need to KNOW if they are armed or not.

I hope Canada becomes a part of the US because then I can get people I hate to come to my house, kill them, then say they were going to rob me and that I felt threatened :)

I keep a few long knives in my room and my airsoft guns, I would probably reach for the knives but more than likely would still end up dead

You should just let the guy rob you with no harm done if you are without a formidable weapon. If hes masked try to remember his voice or if he is without ID his face to the police. If he has every intention to harm you then fight back with anything you can. No sense in just dying without a fight.

When he has the ladder in place, he gets to the window.
Takes 10 seconds to get the window off.
Takes another 10 seconds to get the next window off.
He gets in and I've already alerted my entire family and the police.
He is arrested and we all get away easily.

I spend most of my time in my room unless I'm eating, chores, school, or outside so yeah.
Screw e'ryone else.
Nah, I'd go up to him and beat him with my music stand...assuming I was shot or I just failed horribly.
Then I'd realize I might've pissed myself.
Or 911.

You could act nice and kind to them and then respectfully redirect them outside and call for help as quickly as you possibly can, You can even offer them a meal.


Calling for help is the perfect alternative.
