I am going to put springs from a car's suspension into a toaster to create a doomsday device.
As long as I have as many extension cords as I need.

im sick of the news going on and on about "assault rifles" when not a single one of these shootings used one.
that term isnt even real.

it seems most people do not know what they are

so wait

if the 7.62mm has different sizes, where do the numbers come from?

as in what does the 7.62 and 54 represent?

54 is the length, 7.62 is the width at it's widest point.

Also the cartridge in my example was 7.62x51mm NATO.

Well we're talking about the 7.62x54mm R obviously.

COD is a video game, guys.

Can someone explain to me in detail about how innefective the Desert Eagle is? I already understand that recoil and the fact that you're shooting a freaking .50 out of a handgun are two major issues, but what other problems are a part of it?

A desert eagle is pretty much designed to be badass, because a smaller handgun could be equally as effective, along with the ability to carry around more ammo because of it's smaller caliber.

The reason why (I'm guessing) the Dessert Eggo appears in shooters nowadays is because there's a 'Heavy Pistol' void that needs to be filled, and apparently the 'Magnum = Revolver' revolver that's always a Colt Python got too old.

In movies, I'd simply say that it's supposed to be badass.

It'd be cooler if pistols packed more of a punch in games. (instead of a standardized 12 shot weak-ass pea-shooter).

You speak gun, tell me what just happened.

Battlefield three has great pistols. I usually run around with a pistol and headshot anyone i run into, of course i'm using one of the higher powered revolvers, but the m9 or m1911 will both kill just as easily as a semi automatic rifle at close range. Arma also has some very good pistols. MW3 has stuff pistols, it takes more than a clip to kill a person with the starter pistol, while MW2 had some decent pistols.

How does that make it ineffective? You use it to pierce armor.
