You're basically coming into a thread that properly defines firearms terminology and complaining about how it properly defines firearms terminology. That's like going into the Post real life pictures thread and saying how handicapped everyone is for posting their real life pictures in that thread.

I was complaining when people nitpick like asshats. Correcting someone is fine so long as you're not a cunt about it, which many gun enthusiasts are.


I've seen a swat riot shield and it was made of steel, it had flashlights on the front and a tiny window for the guy behind it to see.

and a bullet isn't the only thing that comes out of a gun, further demonstrating your intricate knowledge of weaponry. A bullet leaves the barrel as a shell is ejected. shell + bullet = cartridge. your logic is broken.

The guy told us it was metal and that it would stop buckshot and small arms. I held it and it was obviously not plastic except for the area around the flashlights and the back

also most riot shields are for, well, riots(CoD plastic shield) and can't take gunshots but can, and are made to, protect against small rocks and other objects the crowd throws
this does not include said steel SWAT "riot" shield
