Yeah the touchscreen is just a glorified inventory screen most of the time anyway and the wii u isn't that powerful so probably soon.
The way how Nintendoland uses it, makes it one of the most important things in the controller. The ninja shuriken throw extrabonaganza whatever uses only the touch screen and the gyroscope to play. Yoshi's food kart uses the stylus and Legend Of Zelda (as the archer) uses the gamepad's touchscreen as your screen where you aim.
It's also interesting how the wii has backwards support and the wii u doesn't
I like the way how ignorant you are and just want to glorify your loving emulator and bash on the Wii U for no reason. Wii U along with its predecessor consoles follows the "last generation is supported in its physical form". You can also download (for a price) games from older consoles arranging from NES to Nintendo 64 + all portable consoles.
If combined with with support for wii u, Dolphin could possibly end up being better then the actual wii u console itself.
