Here.
The systems are outdated, however. I can set you up with a build if you give me a budget.

Why wouldn't I just message the user Ethan? :o

Also that would be wonderful if you would help. The budget is 400-500 dollars.
A few things to note
-The case does not have to be fancy
-I am fine with an AMD processor
-The processor must be a quad core clocked at the very least, 3.0Ghz
-A sata 3 hard drive, preferably 10200RPM (or w/e that number is to be exact)
-A nice Ati Graphics card
-Either Windows 7 Home Premium or Windows 8 (not pro)
-All the cables needed to hook this stuff up
I already have a monitor, sound system, mouse, and keyboard.

You can save money getting a cheaper, non-overclockable motherboard and hardware that is locked that way as well. Avoid buying any "fancy" packaged RAM, its all just fancy heatpipes and cases and the speed differences are tinyyyyy (just go with a good brand like Corsair or G.Skill and make sure to get a good CAS rating and DDR3 if possible and your mobo supports it).

Use the online PSU calculator above to find out what PSU you need afterwards. People overspend on high watt PSU's they don't need allll the timeee. Make sure you don't buy a stuff PSU though or you'll blow the machine. Check at www.hardwaresecrets.com for detailed reviews and brown townysis of PSUs.

There are many computer building sites where experts and hobbyists alike suggest computer builds for a variety of prices. Check around if you can't find anyone here that'll make one for you.

I'd rather see what Proto-cow comes up with first. Stick around gamma, i'll be needing your assistance c; I never thought about a locked motherboard and etc. Keep coming out with these tips.

I would check out eurogamers. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/df-hardware-introducing-the-digital-foundry-pc

Altogether ~£300 / By our reckoning, US readers would pay around $400 for the same set-up after rebates,

Ayeayeaye. This is nice and all, but its just so much to process. Matching computer hardware is not my area of expertise. Also note that I live in the US.

Believe it or not the uk uses the same computer parts as america.

And that is not matching hardware, That is some hardware that works together for ~$400 and will net you 50-60fps on bf3 on medium.

you are NOT going to get that good of an HDD for $500.

I knew that, I just meant there is a price difference. Then I saw that it said that computer system would cost 400 in US dollars. It's an option, but im wanting to see what proto-cow comes up with.

How about a 7200rpm sata 3 TB HD?

Get a hybrid HDD, they're almost as fast as SSDs, but cheap and have high capacity.

Give me a budget and a processor preference and I'll make you a partlist.
Read the third post from the top my dearest.

Never heard of such a thing! Sounds intriguing.

A 3 tb HDD costs about $125 by itself. A medium-high end amd card will cost you another $170. Those 2 alone cost $295 already, and with an amd X4 955 that's another $90 dollars, thats a total of $385. +$80 WIN 7 Home premium is $465. Remaining is $35 for the case, power supply, ram, and mobo. There's just not enough for it. If someone could help me with this one build that'd be cool.

Nonono Not 3 TB hard drive, I mean a "SATA 3" 1 TB hard drive.
