It has 2 GPUs in it. It hold 2 graphics processors on 1 board. It's not overkill, it's long-lasting.
Can the 2 GPUs work in parallel or are they only useful for multi displays?

So what if you got enough screens to go all the way around you? :o

Get special screen with a really really slim edge if you want a multi-screen setup
Because those black stripes through the image must suck really bad

For those wondering, the case is a White Phantom 410, the keyboard is a Razer Blackwidow Ultimate, the mouse is a Steelseries Sensei, and the mouse pad is a Steelseries Qck.

And Mack please link me to them beautiful monitors you bought for $100 :)

Afaik, the two GPU's work in parallell. A rule of thumb: 2 cards in Crossfire/SLI perform slightly worse than a single card that is "twice as good". Sometimes, two lesser cards can be cheaper than the single, more powerful card.

I know this is off topic, but are there any ways to improve your graphic card performance?

Overclocking. Depending on your card, you can get up to a 25% gain in clock speed. For example, this means that you can get your overclocked 7870 card to perform on par with the much more expensive 7970 card. HOWEVER, oc'ing can be harmful to your card. If you don't know what you're doing (like me :D), don't oc, or limit yourself to a small oc.

You are one rich bitch right there.

I don't rhink overclocking would work because my card is around Radeon HD 4k something. So it sucks for me. :(

How much did this cost? It would be sick in my Flight Simulator.

Bought it and built it at around ~$1230, spent about $500 more on a Corsair H100 cooler, card reader bay, fans, LED strips and obviously the keyboard/mouse/monitor setup

You can overclock literally any card.

There is no way in hell you could overclock a 7870 to be as fast as a 7970. Not even with liquid nitrogen. There are multiple guides on how to overclock any card you want. I suggest checking out Overclock.net if you want more info on overclocking.

Just wondering, what keyboard are you using?

This is really cool. Screenshots would have been bit better if they weren't jpeg. Mack how much does each monitor cost and what company makes them?
