damn, that's a pretty solid price for what you got

ALRIGHT, LISTEN UP, I GOT A PROBLEM AND IT'S PISSING ME OFF

So recently, I built a new computer, and it worked fine for the first few weeks or so. Then, it started freezing. Not random freezes, mind you. It developed an oddly specific habit of freezing anywhere between 2-5 minutes after startup. I have Windows 7 Professional and an AMD Phenom II x4, but I can hardly imagine the processor freezing because of the strain of running windows. When it freezes, the mouse can move for a few seconds, then that freezes too, and the numlock key won't work while it's frozen, indicating a CPU issue.

Sometimes I'll get lucky and it will live past those initial 5 minutes and run with no problem forever. I'm using the stock cooler, but no overclocking involved, and the CPU idles at 39 degrees and never gets to any sort of dangerous heat level, and it never goes past 75% load.

Has anyone ever dealt with this stuffballs annoying issue or one similar?
This is what happens when you build and use a phenom.
Let's have a moment of silence for his loss.

bullstuff

the Phenom is a good choice, as long as you get the 965 and not the 955.

If the cpu isn't causing his problem, then what is

That's not what Eazy is really saying, he's talking about;

This is what happens when you use a phenom.

Implying that Phenoms are, generally, faulty/terrible processors, which is a god-damn lie

It was mainly touching upon his choice of getting a phenom in a recent build.

I don't see the problem with a phenom

Sli GTX Titan is able to beat Quad Sli GTX 690.

wtf would you need quad sli 690s for

wtf would you need quad sli 690s for

Quad Sli GTX 690 is two GTX 690 cards since they are dual GPU's.

So two Titans vs two GTX 690s(4 GPUS), the titans would win.

oh yeah right

but srsly what would you be doing with dual 690s

If you got a ton of money to spend and are looking for extreme over the top performance. If I had $2000 I would do it, but of course not anymore since the Titan is out.
