no those are fine but why pair a pricey x370 board with a 1300x

AMD cpu and Nvidia gpu combos are fine (probably since there aren't any decent AMD cards under the 570, and we all know where those aren't). Get a B350 motherboard though and then use the money saved to get a Ryzen 5 1400 or 1500x which will be a bigger upgrade from the 1300x.

guys i made a computer build
sure its a little pricey but its not that much really

a  what
your motherboard's chipset is x370. Instead, go for one with the B350 chipset. Both offer overclocking so it should be fine.

alright, thanks to inh's help, i have finally finished what i like to call

Micro if you're willing to use that money saved from the motherboard then buy a 1400 or 1500x ryzen cpu there will be better performance.

tbh i'm probably gonna spend it on pizza or smth

sides, linus said it's pretty okay for games soooooooo

For gaming a 1200 or 1300x is fine. You don't really need ryzen 5 u less if you plan on streaming / recording / doing heavy cpu workloads as well.

I recently bought this laptop from amazon: Link.

Cpu: i7-6700hq 2.6ghz
Gpu: Gtx 960m 4gb Vram
Ram: 16gb Ddr3
Storage: 1tb Hd + 128Ssd

I'm planning to use it for school and a bit of gaming, but I seem to have heat issues. The cpu idles at about 46°C - 68°C, and under heavy loads goes up to temps of 90+ at times even reaching 100°C. I'm playing Battlefield 1 on the lowest settings. I'm worried about this and was wondering if I should just return it and get something else.
