You should wait for a few months and see what Intel/AMD launch.
The i5-3570 is still pretty capable even though it's 6 years old and it probably isn't bottlenecking anything. You might want to keep an eye out on Ebay for a used i7-3770 which are going for around $100. You can also sell your i5-3570 for around $50.

this, or get a used i7 2600 / i7 2600k on /r/hardwareswap or ebay for 60 - 80 if you're really low

if you can overclock, the 2600k is great value

agreed

When I'm able to, I'm going to get an MSI mATX Z68 board and the 2600k, and overclock that sucker

sub 160 dollar upgrade that is loving amazing

all of the things you recommended are either at the same level as the i5-3570 or just very slightly above it, ill probably go with the i5-8600k.

On another note, any recommendations for a computer build using my left over Z77 Extreme4, i5-3570 and some ram? I dont need mb/cpu/ram but I have nothing else. I have like $300 to spend on that one

Stop using synthetic websites to base on whether a cpu is better or worse than another, it's inaccurate as forget and should be taken with a spoonful of salt

Watch some actual gameplay and useage videos on Youtube that actually shows the performance of the chip

The i7 2600k / 3770k are still on par with Intel's Skylake and Kabylake i7, with a few percentage difference depending on the game and specific task.

lol yeah, youtube videos > actual benchmark results

youtube videos are often if not mostly taken with a grain of salt as much as you claim benchmark results to be, idk what you're on about, he's not wrong to use the websites

lol yeah, youtube videos > actual benchmark results

i think insert is smoking crack, ill definitely trust 12 year old xXcallofDutyCPUreviewsXx over a well known benchmark site lol

lol yeah, youtube videos > actual benchmark results
synthetic websites that everyone in the community says to stay away from > youtube video benchmarks showing off actual games > actual reputable sources doing the benchmarks

It's common knowledge that cpu userbenchmark and cpu boss and websites like those are a stuff way to decipher if a cpu is better or worse that another.

The only website benchmarks that are good enough and accurate enough to go off is Passmark, CineBench, and 3DMark.

Wait 2 or 3 months. DDR4 prices should go down as memory manufacturers are currently being investigated for price fixing and AMD/Intel should be launching new CPUs.
