Try installing SetPoint?
I don't think it works with G400. I'm using Logitech Gaming Software.

holy forget that download speed is amazing. 15mbps has been sufficient for me, though. i see no problem with it. my family does spam netflix/internet too, although i'm the only gamer.

I'm the only one using this connection actually. We went over our bandwith limit twice, third time is a shut off. So to fix all this, we got a new connection of 30mb, downgraded the 15mb to 10mb and moved it to a seperate router everyone in the house is going to use, and cancelled our phone through them for magic jack. It only ends up being like 20$ more a month over our current plan of one 15mb with phone.

Have you used magic jack yet?  I've always wondered what kind of service it provides.

We haven't canceled the phone yet because we need to look into it because of doctors and stuff that have our current number listed. My friend uses it and says it's good, and my aunt's husband uses it to call back to Elsalvador and they've never complained about it. The only problem I see with it though is needing to be hooked into a usb port unless they changed that.

Well I mean for that price I think I can save a USB port, I've just never got around to trying it because it seems like the service wouldn't provide well, let me know how it goes when you have it all set up.

Which is will last longer, if there's any real difference.

I am pretty satisfied with the WD Green one, I have a 2TB version. Not sure about the other.

I have a western digital black 500 GB that's seen it all and still works fine and it's been to every day use for 5 years or so. I want a 2 TB since I fill up 500 GB pretty quickly with steam

give me shopping expertise
what is the best possible gaming laptop that i can get for ~$500
bloatware isn't really an issue since i'll certainly just reinstall windows, so i'll even accept an alienware if things work out that way

implying you could get an alienware for $500  :cookieMonster:

I'm at my wits end here.

My 670 is great for 3 screens but I feel like there's a SINGLE (NO SLI PLEASE) card for an equal or roughly similar price (forget, I wouldn't care if it was $100 more at this point) that will perform much, much better.

Anyone have anything in mind? :c I have a budget of like $700 tops for the card.
