There is no gaming laptop for $500, you're stuff out of luck on that one.
my brother's asus was ~450 and runs TERA on medium
i just can't find it but frankly i want to go a little stronger anyway

So I was thinking about doing triple screen soon with double 670's, but with the problem Mack's having, I might just grab a GTX Titan.

Is it worth it...?

im pretty sure he already had a triple monitor setup w/ the 670, but adding another one in sli was a problem.

I personally hate Radeon cards, because they are for budget builds.

i'm gonna use my 7970 to put a foot up your ass

I haven't heard of the problems that mack is having,  I've seen videos of it running perfectly fine.

It's okay.
He's one of those consumers, he can't help it if the media lies to him
sorry, I didn't see that you guys were already talking about it

hey guys, what do you think of this monitor?
a 27" Asus monitor with 2ms response time and 1080p for $300? seems a little too good to be true.

I wouldn't get a 27" 1080. I would only go up to that size if it were 2560.

i see. should i grab two 24" monitors instead?

Yes, I have 3 of those and it's awesome. But god damn it they just went on sale for 20$ less than what I bought my last one for D:

Has anybody here used two AMD cards together? I think Mulch said something about a second 7950 but he's not very active.

two 7950s should work fine, why do you ask?

Well Mack was having some problems with SLI and I was just wondering what crossfire would be like. Right now I can crossfire with my integrated and dedicated card, but I think that's considerably different than two discrete desktop cards.

Mack, how much are you willing to spend?

Just dug up an old family laptop that my sister destroyed, took out the hard drive, and now I have an external drive!

It's only 250GB, but it's nice since I only had to spend $8, and the enclosure is actually nice for the cheap price.
