243 Windows.
18 Mac.
LOL
Yeah, that is because most people on this website are kids who use computers for games, and a windows computer is better then a mac for gaming.

Because this site is full of mostly gamers and Anti-Apple people. Apple is for professional use.

Vegas is loving horrible. I use VideoPad

So my computer has been having this issue for about a week - I'll be listening to music, playing games, anything really and all of a sudden my music will start getting staticy and my house will get laggy than the computer freezes and I have to restart. No idea what is causing it.

Any ideas?

Sounds like your ram and/or cpu can't handle it.

Weird.
Maybe your GPU is getting too hot causing it to lock up your PC?
Also check to make sure your drivers are correct, that can mess something up.

Why would an i5 or ram not handle music
Glass, what are you using for a music program?
Have you tried foobar or anything else by any chance?

I'll keep my NVIDIA Precision X up to monitor the temp incase it happens again. But most of the time it stays at 30C idle or 50C(sometimes 60C) under load.
