I'll keep my NVIDIA Precision X up to monitor the temp incase it happens again. But most of the time it stays at 30C idle or 50C(sometimes 60C) under load.
my gtx 560 runs hotter then that and it has no issues.

Can't be a hardware thing.
As I said check out with the drivers, theres probably a bad one.

thats idle.

Yeah, it's fine. Unless it's exceeding temperatures which makes it shut down then you're ok.

Looking for a new computer, is this good?

•VIDEO: AMD Radeon HD 7790 1GB 16X PCIe 3.0 Video Card [+75] (Major Brand Powered by AMD)

It also comes with a gaming keyboard and mouse, and a headset.
Looking to play games such as GTA 4 (And GTA 5 when it comes out) DayZ Mod, Arma 3, Battlefield 3, Battlefield 4(When it's released) and some other older ones.

Any Ideas or suggestions?
It's prebuilt and costs $2,300, any ways it could have better parts yet be cheaper?
*EDITED*
I feel like they sacrificed on the GPU end to get you 32GB, which you don't really need. IMO build, or find a better prebuilt. Also, that price doesn't sound right to me. I have similar specs (except less ram), and including my keyboard, mouse, headset, and two monitors, it was about $1500~$1600

Is this better? Wanting to run games like GTA 4 and GTA 5 and BF3 BF4 and DayZ Mod and Arma 3.

Video card could be better, but everything else looks good.

I don't get why people just dont build it themselves :I

http://www.asus.com/ROG_ROG/G75VX/

good?

I use a G75VW and it works pretty well for being nearly a year old now. The VW runs BF3 at low settings at around 80 FPS, so you'll probably get a slightly better gaming experience out of the VX.

fun

My Corsair SSD died on me a month or so ago, i've been really meaning to RMA it but I'm just too lazy. I wish I bought something smaller like a 60gb ssd so I could have used it for caching without wasting half of it. I have 120gb and there's really not much to do with it, too small for most of my favorite games and too big for caching.

Woe is me

I am going to be building a new PC (my laptop is dieing). I need it to be powerful because I plan to use it for 3D image/animation rendering, and of course gaming. Also I have little experience building computers. :P

(I don't have a price point set in stone yet, but I would like to keep most of the individual components below $200)

Anyway, is this a reasonable graphics card?
