Don't bother getting the 4gb version if it's only a go-between card. Extra vram is just for futureproofing, and you could get a card that performs exactly the same for only $400

$400? That's more than the total of the whole computer I'm hoping to build in the near future. ._.

doesnt really matter, but i would prefer it to be on the lower price end.
looking for cherry mx red and illuminated keys

CM Storm QuickFire Rapid (TKL) - $89

Rosewill RK-9000RE - $74.99

TKL = TenKeyless, no numpad

Got my new build all together, looks great, runs cool and quiet.

Loving it

Did you replace your HD 7870 or whatever it was?

-snip-

Hey Treynolds, how well would the $300 computer play Blockland and Minecraft?

Yeah, I went with a 7970 instead, I still have the 7870, I RMA'd it and hopefully I'll throw it into my second tower

Very good choice

sounds like a very low-performance computer to me

Reasonably well I suppose. The $400 dollar build has a lot more bang for your buck, so if you can scrape together some extra money I would definitely recommend it. As for actual benchmarks, I can only guess based on the graphics card, the cpu shouldn't bottleneck in either of those builds

Ok. Well, I'm hoping to build a computer around $350, but I probably won't have the money until Christmas. :/

can someone build me a PC on a $250 budget? I already have a 1tb hdd i just dunno how to go about the rest of the stuff
