So I'm trying to build a ~$350 computer, would I be better off getting the AMD A10 6800k Quad Core 4.1GHz APU + 8 gigs of RAM (~$210 total) or Radeon HD 6670 GPU + 4 gigs of RAM + AMD FX 4130 3.8 GHz Quad  Core CPU (~$200)?

I plan on playing Blockland and Minecraft with this computer, and potentially using some AutoCad software as well, but that's not as big of a priority.

EDIT: You should add Both to the poll.

And add linux.

And Mac + Linux, Windows and Linux, and all of they above.

You'd be better off with the combo that has the 6670.

Ok. That's what I was leaning towards. Also, do you think a Micro ATX case is too small for a beginner? I would love a small tower.

The only gripe most people have with mATX cases is that they're too small for larger components, like some video cards. Just be sure to pick an mATX board.

okay, i need a good keyboard.....what should i get :I?

Whatever you get don't get Razor. Their drivers are loving terrible.

What did nobody see this or something?
IN OTHER NEWS I DECIDED TO DO SOME BUILDS FOR THE OP
I changed a few of the pricing points ($1200, $2400) because there are fewer and fewer go-betweens for price the more powerful the hardware gets. I didn't include OS or cases because they come down to personal preference most of the time. I budgeted space for the case but not the OS. Rebates are included. I didn't include internal disk drives/burners because they're almost 100% useless unless you know for a fact you have a recurring purpose for them. If you want one just take it out of the case budget. REMEMBER, these are suggestions, so if you disagree with a choice I've made, make sure it is a valid reason and not just because you have a personal vendetta against SSDs or whatever else

Someone should check what I've done. I tried to be pretty consistent with pci slots and connectors and things like that all matching up, but there's a chance I missed something small like too few sata cables or a driver issue or something. You could find some generic cases too, if that's a requirement for things going into the OP

Ok. Do you know how big the 6670 is compared to other GPUs, and/or if it should fit in a mATX case?

okay, i need a good keyboard.....what should i get :I?

You shouldn't have any space issues with a 6670.

It looks like it will fit without a problem. You may have a spot of trouble with the dual-slot versions of the card, but nothing too horrifying.

Price range?
doesnt really matter, but i would prefer it to be on the lower price end.
