Not really, to me HDD's are HDD's lol.  Why not go SSD if you have the option too, unless you A) don't have the money or B) need the space for your current files and what not.

ssd's are expensive, its a hassle configuring everything to install to the secondary drive, I do not see a major performance increase, etc. I would rather just have 1, good fast hdd on which everything is stored instead of juggling between 2 drives
and wtf hdds really differ in price and speed you cant just say "to me all hdds are just hdds"

Usually a person won't use 1TB unless they keep 99% of the stuff they ever download or put on their PC. That or they have no way to back it up.
