My brother let me use his monolithic 1920x1200 DVI monitor to see if it's an issue with the VGA to DVI adapter block that was causing the flicker and now he's letting me borrow it until he wants it back because it's fixing it.
This resolution is absolutely intoxicating, I doubt I'll ever be able to go back to 1600x900 after a month or so of using it.

Can you describe the flicker problem that you're having? I think mine might be doing that. It's not really noticeable unless you're looking for it though.

Also my mobo isn't outputting a signal to my monitor, is that normal? I have my monitor plugged into my graphics card.

Its been discontinued according to that page, it has meh RPM, kinda stuffty cache, the interface speed isn't great, and I personally find 3.5" a little weird.

Actually I don't think more SSDs would make more speed unless you RAIDed them. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yep, though using RAID on any hard drive would make it faster. Though with RAID you increase your failure rate unless you use one of those crazy configurations that aren't RAID 0.

Thats just what an SSD needs.  

Anything over 1TB of SSD space used for more than Windows and programs = failjob.

If you have a newer sandybridge or ivybrdige mobo, the caching thing you can do really speeds up a normal HDD. I'm thinking of buying another SSD but only a 64gb one because caching was so nice. I don't think an ssd makes that much of a difference from a normal HDD with the SSD caching.

Mmm, I know they can be really good for faster response time when using software but I'm still skeptical about their reliability and price. For me, this is a technology worth waiting for until it evens out and becomes more standardized.
