Name your budget, size, and if your gaming I would get it. It just makes the life of your processor longer and more efficient.

As SPooK mentioned, we need your budget, CPU socket and case name

Here's a quick application that I made to restart the Nvidia driver if you're using 3 screens or more. Nvidia has a tendency to crash when you quick-switch from extended to surround mode or vice versa, so this quickly restarts it by just running the batch.

Rename the file to a .bat file if you want to run it.

tried kubuntu 12.04 on a usb stick.

and... ooh its so lightweight and lovey unlike the previous one i tried.

it takes forever to start up (the try kubuntu button) but im going to assume its the usb stick and not the laptop since the cpu usage averages around 2-6% idle on a 2.1 ghz single core processor.

ill run this alongside mate as another launcher/desktop/whatever and have the best of gaming performance (still stuff but better) and productivity.

Hey look i'm on the poll :D

40$
You should probably just look at the poll and choose one of those :P I think the 212 Evo/Plus has the best price/performance ratio in addition to being small. Your case can probably also fit one of the larger coolers, like the Noctua NH-D14.

It's pretty simple and I've heard great things about it.

Looks nicer but is a bit more, I've also heard good things about it.

I don't know which one is better to be honest, but they're both supposed to be pretty good. The cooler master 212 is like a standard for cheap decent aftermarket cpu cooling.

MEANWHILE, ON NEWEGG'S 72-HOUR SALE PAGE...

for those too dull to notice, it's saying a really nice monitor is the item when it's actually a wireless adapter
