Titan VS 690 though. They're the same price and with the 690 you get two GPUs on one board. imho I'd probably just go for the 690 if I had a choice. The 690 also supports 4 way SLI.

I'm hoping 3 Titans will beat 2 690s.

Why would you rather have 2 gpus on a pcb over just one higher end gpu?

the titan is yes, single gpu, but when you have 2 gpus you have to worry about problems with scaling on certain games and stuff.
