Well, this is a really loving big crock of stuff.

Guys what the forget does this mean? I've googled it and people are saying the 2 fans I ordered are either broken, lost, or they forgeted up somewhere and had to turn back.

I just wanted some god damn static pressure fans, is that too much to ask for UPS?!
UPS is usually really good
I don't know what could have happened, but it wouldn't be a bad idea to call and ask

It's too bad you didn't buy shipping insurance.

I'm pretty sure that means it's stuck in customs right now. That's what the first few google searches are.

I hated that about ordering from Newegg with UPS, if your order comes from the USA, it doesn't go past the border on weekends. Wait until Monday and the status should change.

So I went balls deep on setting up 3 monitors, I ended up spending almost 400 dollars on a monitor stand on top of another monitor. Feels bad to have dropped almost a grand on my monitor set up, feels really bad. I'm trying to rationalize it by saying I would've wasted it on something else but I'm still on the fence to whether or not it was a good idea.

if you make a big enough deal about it newegg will probably ship another of those parts for free.

buying monitors >>>>> buying drugs

your parents would be proud

does anyone know of a 64bit windows 7 bootloader?

I agree with what has been said earlier:

1) Get better monitors. You don't need all that GPU power for 3 stuffty 20 inch monitors. Look for something a little bit bigger, maybe 120 Hz if you want. And you said you are getting a couple more monitors in late summer? Holy cow, how many monitors do you plan on having? 6? I'll strongly suggest buying 3, maybe even just 2 or 1, more expensive monitor.

2) Don't go all POWAAAAR on the GPU's and then wimp out on everything else. Especially the PSU looks a bit meh to me. Buy one that is 80 Plus Gold, like this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139010 . It costs twice as much, but it's probably worth it.

3) Just a reminder: you need the 3570k version if you want to overclock your processor. And you should probably get a aftermarket CPU cooler nonetheless. They're quieter and will keep your CPU temps lower than the stock cooler. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103099
Or water cooling for extra cool-points :D

Alright I edited it, added a thermalake 2.0, a 3570K, much better monitors, and a much better 80Plus Gold certified PSU, which kicked it up to ~$1700:

Looks better for sure. I would personally be bothered by not having my monitors all be the same size, but if you don't care then don't worry about it. Just to be clear also, you're buying that cpu cooler so you can overclock it.

What is the best budget cooler?

yea the Hyper 212 is great. been using it on my 2600k for over a year. still keeps it nice and chilly even with an overclock.

-snip-
holy stuff non-identical monitors i would kill myself if i didn't have identical monitors

well i can only fit one of the rise of my desk (because it was made for one monitor) and the other two on each side. even if they were the same size it would still be lopsided.
