Nope, not the same case. Looked the same with the fan setup and such though. Mines a NZXT something

My case is really nice, but it is huge :U
Though there is still a lot i need to put in it.
Like more ram and more HDDs
also the PSU is stuff. gets pretty damn loud.

My case is pretty damn big, its this one http://pcpartpicker.com/part/nzxt-case-s210e002
I still have room thanks to the wire management spots and the modular PSU.

oh nice the source 210 is like the nicest budget case ever.

I know right? Cheap, durable, USB 3.0, and has plenty of room.

This is truly pissing me off because I have no idea what I'm looking for really.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a computer case that is:

1. On the small side, I currently have a NZXT, it's wonderful but it's loving huge and I have to have the computer next to my desk rather than under it. (main issue)
2. Able to house an ATX board
3. Able to house the Cool Master 212

Considering I have no idea what I'm looking for exactly I'd like some suggestions, doesn't have to look amazing, but I'd prefer it to look like a gaming computer.

I have my NZXT on my desk and its just fine.

It is fine, it's not that the tower is pissing me off, it's that trying to find one that fits my needs is. I don't mind keeping it but if I could get one that fits my needs better I'll take it.

I'd stick with the NZXT, it should fit your needs pretty well. Yea its big but it allows you to fit what you need.

Get a Cooler Master HAF 912

get another stick of ram to make it dual channel + a lot of games are starting to need more than 4gb
you dont need 750w of power, get 650w instead and put money somewhere else
unless your friend does video editing he doesnt need an 8 core. 6 or even 4 is sufficient for gaming. you could probably get a i5 4670k instead.
everything else is fine I guess
I agree with most of this
Couple extra things: You probably don't even need 650 watts either, for a 270X a 500W gold supply would be more than sufficient. That motherboard is a little pricey too, 90% guarantee that he wont use any of the extra stuff on the mobo that he pays for with that one. I agree with what titanium is saying about the cpu, but the 4670k is probably a bit out of your budget. I recommend the i5-3350P. It needs a different motherboard, but like I said before you should get a cheaper one anyway
Could I have some links to these products then? I'll need to give them to him.

I have one, but I don't really like it. I would take it for lower budget cases though

naturemon is looking for a smaller case that can fit an ATX motherboard and a CM 212. That's probably one of the best you can find.

is your friend planning to overclock?
