You could open the side panel and put a fan on it but I wouldn't suggest it if you can't clean out your PC all the time.

OR you could be me and rig up some half-ass'd cooling system using scotch tape and a cardboard box

i've got a desk fan just pointed into it right now. i'll go and blow out all the dust with my compressor in a sec

is there any way to determine exactly which part is overheating?

with this
Its really odd though, It freezes most of the time with Virtualbox and when I OC'd my processor it started running like trash and loving over a lot of the time
I know when I first got the parts to the computer that the ram was defective and we had to get it swapped but idk
I think it might be my CPU
Help pls

There are 3rd party programs that will read off the temperature of each bit of hardware in your PC

OK so can somebody give me some suggestions for a good gaming pc build (specifically the cpu), I intend to get this from my relatives and parents during christmas, however, I do not quite know what I should get for optimized performance:
I have about $500 to spend on it.
I already have a GPU (it's a nvidia gtx gpu my dad bought 1.5 years ago, all i remember is that it costed $180).
I already have a monitor, keyboard, and mouse that I can spare.

anyone recommend a specific case for airflow?

my current case is an absolute cluserforget

all your computer cases are lame

If you spent $180 on it 2 years ago, it's probably really stuffty. Do you still want a $500 build without a gpu, or one with

There are many good ones. What kind of price are you looking at?

It might of been $280 but idk, it can play shogun 2 on ultra graphics with 60+ fps and anti-aliasing, I can also play bf3 on decent settings so I think I'd like to keep it.

200 or less would be good

I don't get all the craze with booting up quickly. I mean, most people seem to never even turn their computers off very often... Now yes, I understand that an SSD will make apps and stuff open faster, but why does everyone get so excited about boot times? Even if you shut down your computer every day, that's just a few seconds time you'll save with the SSD...

i have no idea lol. like i need one for bf4, the maps on multiplayer just take forever to load. and it speeds it up to almost instantly.

but boot time i dont see who could give a forget. even if my comp took 5 min to start up, well thats 5 unimportant minutes per week i even restart the computer.

why do you want to build a new one if you can run games just fine

Corsair 600T is an excellent case. I have it and I can say its like an air conditioner in my room.
