Will I be able to use 2 cards with that PSU?
mechanical or not?
What? You probably don't even need the evo if you're only overclocking to 4 ghz, that's almost nothing. Don't bother getting water cooling unless you have money to blow and you're going to overclock as high as you can
Would a Phenom II 3.4 GHz quad core bottleneck a 7870? If so how much would it?
I had the same combo until recently. After upgrading to a FX 4350 I've noticed a significant improvement in how well almost all of my games run. Don't get the wrong idea though, the Phenom II X4 3.4 Ghz shouldn't hold the 7870 back too much but if you do upgrade to a newer CPU you'll definitely see a difference.
Thinking about water cooling options for my computer, I currently have a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120 mm PWM Fan. I bought a i7 4770K on friday and I am going to overclock to around 3.8GHz, maybe 4.0GHz depending on temps. What i'm asking is would water cooling be a better option than my current cooler? Would I get better temps? My current temps with my i5 at 3.2GHz is around 45C° when gaming. If water cooling is a good option, what cooler would be best? I have a $120 budget.
I know bare minimum of overclocking CPU's how high can I clock my i7 with my evo, and how high with a water cooling solution?
You can probably get up to 4.5 on air, and if you're lucky 4.7 on waterAs for gpu, the same thing goes: don't bother with watercooling unless you're planning on maxing an OC
Is there a way to force my FX 4350 to always run at 4.2 Ghz?
