Speedtest measures  internet service speed, not Wireless Adapter speeds.

wat, of course it doesn't. Steam downloads off of ISP speed not Wireless adapter speeds. He was saying he was getting 4MB/s in steam which of course in not going to be the max his adapter can handle. It all depends on the speed of the ISP.

I'm kind of curious, I've found an EVGA gtx 660ti for $100 on craigslist and I'm wondering whether I should upgrade my CPU or leave it as it is; currently I have an A8 5600k, which while being a decent processor it isn't that great.

I've got all the other parts of the build figured out, I'm just getting a last minute second opinion on whether I should keep the cpu or get another, obviously an i5 would be great but I'm working on only a couple hundred dollars for this upgrade.
