What's with those PSU's on that pooltable.

Oh, in the background there are old computers; do you take them apart for scraps+money (as in selling the parts)?

One's more expensive. Get the 4x4 unless you plan to add more RAM in the future in which case you would need more slots and should get the 2x8. There is basically no speed or performance difference.

Unless of course he has a quad-channel memory controller on his motherboard that would allow for more concurrent bandwidth. Otherwise I agree with what you've said

What are your guys's opinions on Apple computers?
I like how they look in all and I would like to save up for a laptop maybe to replace my crappy Alienware (which honestly by now ANYTHING would be an improvement to that)

Everyone here hates them but if you want a solid, reliable, good looking computer, it's the obvious choice. My Macbook is 4 years old now and just as fast as day 1. My main issue with Windows is it adds loads of stuff to everything that slows the computer down, you can remove all that but forget that, just get a mac.

if you have the money go ahead, if you don't get something else.

If you know what you're doing, and enjoy PC gaming, you could totally get Windows, remove any bloatware you get, and dual boot some kind of Linux for everything else.

That too ^

I think I found the problem with my laptop's problem with connecting to the internet

I have determined that there's something up with the file "vwifimp.sys"
That is the driver for my laptop's Wi-fi Miniport Adapter
I tried to do a file transfer but it didn't allow it even as an administrator

I'll try a system restore once I find the disk

On a scale of vomit to piss, how well would this computer hold up for running most games at a decent framerate on like medium to high settings.
and pls don't bitch at me for looking for prebuilts and not knowing jack stuff about hardware

Nvm.

So I have a 500$-600$ budget, I want to run most modern games at a decent frame rate on decent settings. I would prefer something pre built (don't ask why or give me stuff pls) but am taking suggestions of what to get for building my own. I don't know stuff about hardware, so someones help would be appreciated.

I did see this, I'm just curious for other options. I'm kind of looking at this:

I don't need something super powerful that can run BF4 on Ultra flawlessly, but something decent you know?
