ordered all my computer parts today
the only part I can actually remember the name of was the GTX 780 Ti
oh snap

nice

Core clocks are completely irrelevant since you can always overclock yourself, it's the cooler you're interested in. The Sapphire has, from what I can tell, much better cooling than the Gigabyte, so I think you should with that one.

any other opinions?
I have the Gigabyte.  It's a great card, can run Arma 2 at med-high setting 40-60 fps.  My processor is my bottleneck though.

what processor do you have?

Also, how well does it run Blockland?

I have the FX 4300.  I can run Blockland at usually high shaders on most servers, never dipping below 40-50 fps.  It's not the best card but it gets the job done fine for the price.

Okay, cool. I have a 7770 and sometimes get 20 FPS, so, that should be a decent upgrade. :P

How many gigs of RAM do you have?

Also have you overclocked at all?

what kinda stuff would I get out of an FX8350 and a 780 Ti then?? because that's a lot to me. actually, running shaders at all is a lot to me. I've been conditioned to have low standards :(

dude, you'll get like 60 FPS 100% of the time, unless your on some 256k brick build. You have a VERY powerful card.

IDK, even on a super incredibly high brick count, you'll still get a pretty good FPS, probably.

I get like 15fps with 2,000 bricks on my laptop
it's frustrating :I
I also can't even play on Construct on Gmod. can't run most other games though

do you think I'll be able to play BF4? that was kinda my uhh, like, personal goal, I guess

I'm pretty sure you've got the most powerful single GPU you can buy (other than the Titan, which would perform the same). You'll be able to play most games on max settings really well, if not all.

I have 8gb at 1866 mhz.  I haven't overclocked but if you're picking up an FX series processor then you should be able to overclock a decent bit provided you have a decent cpu cooler, although the 4300 is already clocked pretty high (4.2 ghz turbo mode)

Ok. Well, I already have the  FX-4130 (I plan to eventually upgrade this, but not now), and 4 gigs of RAM. Again, I plan to upgrade the RAM, hopfully get some this Christmas.

I accidentally spilled a little bit of coke on my mechanical keyboard. At first I thought none got in since I only spilt a tiny bit on the right side of it but I guess a little bit got into the side near the jump as because none of my keys worked after. I tried turning off my computer and disconnecting my keyboard and reconnecting it and now it sorta works but the t key won't work and the d key only works half the time. The spill was no were near those keys and I got hardly any coke in it. Please help

I'm not gonna eat or drink anything next to my computer. I have another desk for that kinda thing anyway
