When I make a server on any game no one can join but when they make one (and no they don't portforward) everyone can join just fine. I just moved into a new place and I don't remember if I have to do any default port forwarding to get games to work (we all use Hamachi).
you dont have to port foward if you are using hamachi.  When you are hosting the server, are you the creator of the hamachi network and did all of your friends join?

thoughts?

will the msi gtx 970 be sold out if i wait until black friday?  im probably going to with all the other parts.

Blockland automatically blocks hamachi addresses. This is your issue.

So I bought myself a mechanical keyboard last week, and it finally came this Friday:

I've been using it for about two days and I'm lovin' it so far. Not only is it much nicer to type on than my crappy old rubber dome Logitech, but my typing speed has gone up from <50 to 70-80 WPM, and I can get to 100+ if I really try. Not too bad for something less than half the price of a CM Storm.

really? i7 and gtx 750 bottleneck? i don't believe you!

besides if its anything you want to improve its the gpu. that's the real deal behind gaming. the cpu doesn't do as much or anything really.
what are you even going on about

someone suggest he get an i7 instead of an i5 with a GTX 750. I said not to, there'd be a huge bottleneck.

Seriously, what the forget is going on. Why are you people buying keyboards from the 90s?

Why not? It has all the keys you need, probably works as well the day it was made, and he probably got it for like $5 at a thrift store compared to $80 for a new mechanical keyboard.

I'm more asking why there's like a mass movement towards mechanical keyboards like they're divine instruments of gods. I get that he got it for cheap, but why did he buy it at all?

They last longer and allow some people to type faster.

Uh huh... alright, I guess?

Non-mechanical keyboard designs just feel more clumsy when you're pressing the keys. I personally haven't cared enough yet to replace my keyboard with a mechanical one, but I know I do type better on them from the times I've used them (mostly at school, a certain class had them. The rest of the school had 8+ year old iMac keyboards which are probably the worst it gets in terms of keyboards feeling clumsy to type on).

I have a i5 and a 760.
I bottlenecked myself not through the GPU or the CPU but through the video memory.
Nor my GPU or CPU ever reaches 100% constantly, most of the games they don't even get to 70% but my Video Memory Usage is always at 100% while playing games.
That's what I loving get for being a idiot and sticking with the 2GB version.
2GB is fine they said, 2GB VRAM is enough for games, they said.

Yo
Semester ends in less than three weeks and I'm gonna build that computer I was talking about. Start giving me some build ideas within the $2600 price range. The only thing I'm picky about is that I want one of the gtx 900 series cards.

Yo
Then go for the 980.
Given your budget, I'd say even go for SLI.

Or if you want some leftover money in your pocket, make a single-GPU 980 computer but with the power input and capabilities of a SLI setup, so that you can eventually add another 980 when you feel like games actually need more power, because in all honesty a single 980 is pretty powerful anyway.

Optionally, you may want to look for the following: CD/DVD drive (~$20), WiFi adapter (~$10-$30)
I'm sure you already know what OS you're going to use. I'll leave that to you. (Windows is $100)

Yes they are all joined the network. It worked at my old place but now at my new place we have a new router and service provider. I also don't know if my computer network settings are messed up or not.
