Oh damn, thanks man. Good to see the price isn't too big of a difference.

That's some crazy stuff right there.

Why is amazon so much more expensive in other countries? That would probably be something i would miss if i move out of the USA

You have some leg room with the PSU, so if you wanted, you can slap in another 970 because not only are they efficient, the motherboard also supports SLI. Cool
The Case can be changed, since its based on preference. This one has a clean, non-aggressive look and has a side window, if you like that sort of thing. It looks perfect lol. I like minimalist stuff like this.
The CPU cooler is pretty good for its price.

The CPU can be overclocked. I don't really have a need to overclock my CPU, but that's still good to know.
Tossed in a 126GB SSD, which should be enough for the OS and heavily played games. Looks good. The only game I think I would put on it would be World of Tanks, and that's only like 15 gigs lol.
I've wondered, do all the parts come with screws and stuff (if they're needed)? or will I have to raid a hardware store?

Anyways, thanks! It looks cool, it would certainly be nice to have.

The case comes with all the screws you need plus some. Should come with extra fan screws, mobo screws (mine came with 10), mobo raisers ( forgot the word, but it keeps the back of the mobo off of the case), HDD/SSD screws, and some come with zip ties (Personally i would get velcro zip ties. a $10 pack gives 200, and they are really nifty. Stay away from metal ties)

If you need to have 16 GB of ram, just buy another set of the ram i put on the list. IIRC, that should work just fine.

Parts almost always come with extras. I have a bag full of screws from PC parts that I keep if I need them.

Never know when you're gonna need a good screw!

Are refresh rates tied to the monitor, or the GPU?
Currently both mine are limited to a maximum of 60hz.

Finally got around to overclocking my i5-4690k, only managed to get it to 4.4Ghz turbo stable at 1.3v, anything higher than that and it just won't boot into windows. Highest recorded temperature over the course of an hour in Aida64 was 62 Celsius; at least there's one good thing about living in the UK.

Well I mean, probably both. lol

Also if you like minimalist cases, this is the one I got:

It's an NZXT S340, there's a white variant for people who like pain, and I think it was $70 USD.

pretty much, for the most part. monitors can be overclocked to.
it dosnt matter if the gpu over-fps the monitor. thats just a measure of how long your comp can age before an upgrade.
in theory if your comp ran a game at 100fps, your capped at 60.
but next years big titles can run at 80 capped at 60.
then next year's games 60=
then you spend 500 bucks to upgrade cpu+gpu and your back to 100.

My monitor is 60hz but I overclocked it to 72hz.
It's not a noticeable difference though.

How does one overclock a monitor. I want to do this, I hate being capped at 60 fps when I can run better than that.  :panda:
